FBCA IS MODIFYING INTO PHASE #2 OF THE “REOPENING PROCESS”

On Monday evening September 21, 2020, the FBCA Official Board approved the date for Modifying Phase #2

of the “FBCA Reopening Process”. That date is Sunday, September 27, 2020.

In this modification, we will continue to have Worship Services at 9:00 & 11:00 a.m. These services will
continue to have a 26 family unit limit in both the sanctuary and Family Life Center (FLC). We will continue
to require masks to be worn while within the church building. Once you are seated in the sanctuary or FLC,
you may now remove your mask if you so choose. If it is your desire to sing during the services, masks

need to be worn while singing.

Children’s Ministry is now available for birth through 5th grade during the 9:00 a.m. Worship Service only.
Students in 6th grade and older are encouraged to attend the service with their families and participate in

Youth L.I.F.E. Group.

Adult L.I.F.E. Groups will continue to meet on Sunday mornings and throughout the week as per their current

schedule.

Adult L.I.F.E. Studies are starting up this fall (in person or virtually) as per their choice of format and time.
Check with your L.I.F.E. Studies teacher for details.
WHAT WILL THE CHURCH LOOK LIKE STARTING SEPTEMBER 27, 2020?

To ensure the safety of those who attend, we plan to implement the following during Phase #2:
  • We will be following “social distancing” guidelines from the Center for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC). These include maintaining a 6-foot distance from others and the wearing of masks.
  • Pews will be marked to show proper social distancing spacing.
  • There will continue to be no items in the back of the pews. Modified bulletins will be available for you to pick up on your way to your seat.
  • Offering plates will be located in the back of the church for tithes, gifts, & offerings. You can also continue to give online, church drop off, or through the mail.
  • Masks can be removed while seated – with the exception of while you sing.
  • We will provide hand-sanitizing stations.
  • The SAFE Team will be present to monitor the implementation of the above guidelines.
Meeting spaces will be cleaned after each event.
WHAT DO WE NEED FROM YOU?
• We ask that you stay home if:
  • You have had close contact with anyone who has tested positive for COVID-19.
  • You feel that you are at high risk
  • If you do not feel comfortable.
• We ask that you stay home if you feel under the weather or have any of the following symptoms:
  • Fever
  • Cough or sore throat
  • Difficulty breathing
  • Headache
  • Muscle aches/chills
  • Loss of taste / smell
• We ask that if you test positive for COVID-19 that you let the church know.
• Follow the guidelines set forth in this document.
• Masks are to be worn on your way to and from your seat. Once you have been seated you may remove your mask during the Worship Service – with the exception of while you sing.
• All L.I.F.E. Groups and Studies will continue to meet throughout the week as per their current schedule. They are to be less than 25 people and follow 6 foot social distancing guidelines. While social distancing within your classroom setting, masks may be removed. Scheduling for building usage for L.I.F.E. Groups and Studies, Board meetings and Committee meetings are to be scheduled with Carlton Ringer (610) 390-1646 – L.I.F.E. Ministries Coordinator.
• Please continue to use only the two main entrances to enter the building.
• There are no restrictions for restroom usage. It is suggested that people use the restrooms closest to their meeting space.
• The water fountains will not be available and will be covered.
